Homogeneous Architecture

My business partner Jim just returned from doing a presentation in Turkey. Notable comment: “Istanbul looks more like San Jose than Constantinople.

Have been to Istanbul for some times. When you get to now the local people it feels like a party. The culture knows more about how to sell product than modern management.

I’m from Turkey and a graduate student in USA. As Stefan says people know how to take customer. Istanbul has been the bridge for trades between two continents for thousands of years. I haven’t seen San Jose but always say here that Istanbul is like the NYC of Turkey. I wonder where did Jim present, in a university or in a corporate setting?

I believe it. Local businesses have to focus on the fundamentals, and many managers don’t have a real-life opportunity to learn that.

    A corporation.
