I used to live two blocks from Central Presbyterian. I'd walk by it every day, vote in its annex every November, and hear its bells ringing from inside my house; this interaction has made an impression on me. The architecture is simple, clean, and classic. From the outside, the regal height of the tower stirs you, and inside on a sunny day the soaring white walls create a feeling of lightness and immense space. The multiple-sided clock in the tower is completely functional.

"Before the world was created, the Word already existed; he was with God, and he was the same as God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him. The Word was the source of life, and this life brought light to mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out." - John 1:1-5
